Why do we give?
"The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it..." - Psalm 24:1
As Christians, we believe that Jesus sacrificed for us, and all we have is His. We are stewards of God's resources because He is the owner of all that we have. Throughout Scripture, we are reminded of the importance of giving back a portion of what God has so generously provided. His Word tells us that giving is an act of worship that should be done gladly, with a spirit of thanksgiving.

Giving Options
Helena Alliance Church offers three convenient giving methods: Sunday services, standard mail, and online giving.
Please consider taking advantage of one of these giving options as you continue to contribute to the ministries of Helena Alliance Church. These methods allow you to donate to the General Fund of the church, as well as the Great Commission Fund, Building Fund, and other church ministries.
*We strive to use your donation as requested. In the event your donation cannot be used for its exact designation, it will be used on a similar need. Contributions are solicited with the understanding that Helena Alliance Church has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds. This is a requirement for non-profits stipulated by the IRS.

Why Give Online?
You are taking a step of faith. When you sign up to give online you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith!
You will simplify your life. You won't have to remember whether you gave this month or need to send in an offering by mail when you're on a trip. You can set up a one-time or recurring gift, to the general fund, building fund, or missions.
You will be helping the church. Every person who gives through automatic giving makes our record keeping much easier and our source of finances more consistent.
We allow gifts to be made either by using your Debit Card or by a direct transfer from your checking account (ACH). We encourage people to use the ACH transfer, since the church is charged a lower fee for this type of transaction.

Online Giving FAQ
Is online giving secure?
Yes, all account information you enter is secure. Our payment process uses a secure 128bit encryption process. No one has access to your data unless authorized by you.
Can I give using my credit card?
Currently gifts may not be made by credit card. Proverbs 22:7 says "...the borrower is servant to the lender" and credit cards can cause many people to struggle financially. We do not wish for anyone to fall into debt by giving through credit cards.
Are there any hidden charges or fees?
There are no costs to you. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. Processing fees will be paid by the church.
Why do I have to set up an account username and password?
Setting up an account with a password allows you to enter the secure area of the web site for your transaction. Once your account and password are established, all of your personal information (including account numbers) is safe and protected.
What if I want to designate my gift to a department or ministry not listed on the site?
There are several other ways you are able to give to specific church ministries. Of course there is Sunday morning when the offering plate is passed, or you may drop of your gift anytime at the church office. Please be sure to clearly designate where you would like your gift directed.
Can I post a recurring donation to both the General Fund and a specific fund?
Yes. You just create two contribution schedules - one for your general giving and one for as many other funds as you like.
When is the transaction charged to my checking account or debit card?
Transactions usually take 2-3 business days, so contributions scheduled on Friday through Sunday may not show up on your account until early the following week.
What if I want to change my online giving or stop it?
At any time you can log into the system with your account name and password and make changes. From the online giving window, select "View History" to view the contribution schedule.
