Jesus is more than our savior. He is the creator of all things.
All we have was, is, and always will be, His.
We are stewards of God's resources because He is the owner of all that we have (Ps. 24:1, Ps. 50:10-12). Throughout Scripture, we are reminded of the importance of giving back the best portion of what God has so generously provided in both our resources (Gen. 4:3-5, Prov. 3:8-9, Matt. 25:14-30) and the gospel (John 3:16, 2 Cor. 8:9).
His Word tells us that giving is an act of worship that should be done gladly, with a spirit of thanksgiving.
