Our Mission

The mission from Jesus Himself:

make disciples.

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).

Our Core Convictions

The Word

We believe every believer must be firmly grounded and rooted in God's holy word, for they are good for training in righteousness, that the man or God may be equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16).

Faith

We believe what the Bible says about faith, even mustard seed sized faith. It is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Heb. 11:1). Without faith, we cannot walk rightly before the Lord (2 Cor. 5:7).

Prayer

We believe that God is the one ultimately does the work: He provides the growth (1 Cor. 3:7) and builds the house (Ps. 127:1), no matter the efforts of the laborers. Therefore, we must continue steadfastly and constantly in prayer (Rom. 12:12, Col. 4:2).

Christ-like Character

We believe that every disciple of Christ must seek to be like Him, molded into His image. Paul writes to the Philippian church to have humility, looking to the interests of others, abandoning selfish ambition and conceit (Phil. 2:1 - 8).

Gospel-Centered

We believe that the gospel must be central to all that we do as it informs every situation and reveals the righteousness of God. The gospel is the power of salvation to everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16-17). It is of paramount importance to know and share it (Luke 10:1-3).

Growth Towards Fruitfulness

We believe that every saint must grow towards maturity in Christ (Eph. 4:13) to bear good fruit (John 15:5, Gal. 5:22-25). As such, we must watch our lives and our doctrine for the sake of growth (1 Tim. 4:16) and effective service to the Lord (Matt. 5:16, 1 Pet. 4:10-11).

The World is Full of Noise

This distracts us from being on mission, whether it be politics, media, or social causes. But Jesus has given us His Word to cut through the noise of our world and equip us to fight the battle that is before us. His Word is the only infallible and inerrant source of truth, and therefore all of our ministries are intended to equip the body to stand firm in His Word and proclaim His Truth.

The World is Full of Hurt

The church is not immune from suffering and so our desire is not to merely preach the Word of God, but to have it counsel us and bring restoration and healing to the body and soul.

The World is Full of Darkness

We believe that the hope of the Gospel is the only thing that can pierce through the darkness and bring light. We don’t hope in human institutions, we hope in Christ alone. He died on the cross in our place for our sins, so that God can be glorified and we can be saved. It is our desire to proclaim the gospel to all, so that people who are lost in darkness can find wholeness and new life in Christ.
